PLoc, what is it good for?

PLoc will provide geotag GPS receiver functionality on your iPhone.
It is organized in a very simple and generic workflow. No PLoc specific tools are required on your Mac or Pc.
There are four steps in the workflow:

• collect allows you to collect coordinates by pushing a button. the accuracy of the coordinates can be defined in the preferences of PLoc from best to 3 kilometers.
• produce whenever you have collected some coordinates and wish to save them in a file you can do so by defining a filename and file format, such as gpx or google kml. Once you have produced a file you can choose to remove all collected coordinates from the local database or keep them to be put into the next file.
• manage you will end up having a lot of files on the iPhone. Here you can easily remove files that are not used anymore.
• send provides you with a simple HTTP (web) server. you can activate WLan switch the server on and access all produced files from your Mac or PC via your favorite web-browser.
